Paleo Sloppy Joe

Sorry for the delay! I made this recipe about a month ago and have been neglecting my blog :(. Not to fear, Esther is here! :). Anyways I had the real urge for some yummy sloppy joe! It was my favorite dish growing up so I had to give it a try to make a paleo version and not straight out of a can (yuck). I eat the mixture with no bun. DON'T EVEN CARE FOR A BUN BECAUSE IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOD!

Ingredients:

2lbs of ground beef
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 yellow onion, minced
1 1/2 cup of celery,diced
1 (12oz) can of tomato paste
A couple of spoonfuls of honey, to taste
garlic powder, chili powder, salt & pepper to taste

    Cook ground beef in a large saucepan. Mash and cook halfway through then add vegetables. Season how ever you like. Once meat and veggies are cooked add can of tomato paste and honey. Just add a spoonful at a time to get the right amount of sweetness.
    Don't be shy with your spices either. Tomato paste can be overpowering, especially with the amount you are going to put in. So I usually add more spices (especially salt) after the honey and tomato paste are added. Then tada you are done! Let cool for 5 minutes then serve! I usually eat a huge bowlful right after because it's addicting and YES CELERY!!!!!!!!!!! the combination is quite amazing.... :) ENJOY!

*WARNING*
YOU WILL BECOME ADDICTED
AND WANT TO MAKE THIS EVERY NIGHT :}
